  My $1200.00 Select Comfort is less than 7 years old. The sides are breaking down and blowing out. The mattress is hanging over the sides of the base about 3 inches on each side. I actually slid off and to the floor getting out of bed the other morning. I'm pushing 70 so a broken hip might well be my death sentence. I am told by the Select Comfort Customer Service that this is considered normal wear and tear and nothing can be done. For your own protection do and Internet search for [Select Comfort complaints]. You will be amazed.
